Chesterfield to Hold 4th Annual Fourth of July Celebration & Fireworks Display
Entertainment provided for the whole Family!
Sponsored by the City of Chesterfield, Chesterfield Mall, Sach's Properties and KMOX
In the spirit of community and civic pride, the City of Chesterfield will host its fourth annual Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks Display on Saturday, July 4. This free event will be held on the parking lot of Chesterfield Mall on the northwest side of the mall between Macy's & Dillard's. The main viewing area will include the Main Stage featuring Smash Band performing from 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., children's entertainment will begin at 7:00 p.m. with bounce houses for the little ones. There will be a special presentation by Hometown Heroes that will follow the band. The fireworks display will be presented by Lantis Fireworks beginning at 9:30 p.m. and it will be one of the largest fireworks displays on July 4th in the St. Louis metro area.
KMOX 1120 will be the official radio sponsor and will be broadcasting from Chesterfield Mall featuring Johnny Rabbitt and his Route 66 show. KMOX will be broadcasting live 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will simulcast the official soundtrack to the City of Chesterfield Fireworks Display at 9:30 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or other seating for their comfort and ease of viewing. The display will be set up on land owned by Sachs Properties to the West of the viewing area. Food vendors will be on site and patrons are invited to bring their own food and beverages. Motor vehicles are not allowed in the viewing area. The following items will not be permitted at the event: glass bottles, aerosol cans, laser pens/pointers, weapons of any kind, illegal substances, barbecue grills, tents, fireworks or pets (except for service animals).
This event has been made possible through a collaborative effort between the City of Chesterfield, Sachs Properties and Chesterfield Mall.

AMERICAN IDOL AUDITIONS

The search is on for the next American Idol!
On Tuesday, July 7th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., show us your singing skills at Chesterfield Mall (Dillard’s Court). Contestants will have 30 seconds to sing a cappella.
The best singer could win a guaranteed audition in Denver, Colorado on July 14th!
The winner of FOX 2’s St. Louis Idol – announced on FOX 2 and Y98 FM – also gets two Front Row seats to the American Idol’s Live Concert at Scottrade Center on August 29th. The two runners up will receive two tickets to The American Idol’s tour as well. Southwest Airlines will provide roundtrip airfare and hotel accommodations are provided by Drury Hotels.

SOLE DESTINATION IS BACK AT FINISH LINE

Sole Destination is back! Last year, Finish Line dipped its toe into shoe charity for the first time. During the back to school season, all 700 of our store locations helped us to collect over 85,000 pairs of gently used footwear for donation to Soles4Souls.
While Sole Destination was a huge success, Finish Line still wants to do more. This year, we’ve set a goal to collect 100,000 pairs for Soles4Souls, and we’ll be donating $1 per pair collected up to this amount to assist the charity with shipping fees and other related expenses.
From now through September 7, customers can donate a pair of new and gently used footwear at their local Finish Line store and get $5 off a new pair valued at $25 or more (Limit of 3 pairs per customer).
